Activities

In winter (from November to April), snow cover is certain and invites to ski (47 km), to cross-country ski (classic - 10 km and sketting - 10 km), to hike with snowshoes, to go sledging, to ice-skate or, for the adventurous people, to ski tour, to freeride, to ice climb and to do paintball. Our hotel is by the way at the start and arrival of the cross-country skiing track and next to the paintball field. We are also located at the beginning of snowshoe treks and ski touring.

In summer (from June to September), we can recommend you walks and hikes from the hotel. Arolla is located on the road of various hiking trails such as Tour Matterhorn or Tour Val d’Hérens. Also, different climbing routes are rapidly reachable. You will probably succumb to the charm of our rivers and mountain’s lakes, our Alpine plants and giant conifers’ forest, as well as high mountain’s animals.
